Nature Walk
Natural surroundings are most active closer to sunrise or sunset. Choose from early morning or late afternoon sessions as per your convenience and join us on our guided nature walk in and around the desert camp to be able to witness the unique flora and fauna of the area.

Camel Ride
For an unforgettable experience in the desert, a camel ride in and around the camp is an excellent option. To explore the majestic shrub dunes of the Thar individual camel rides are offered every morning and evening in comfortable slots as per your convenience.

MANVĀR Desert Safari
The desert safari is a great way to get a glimpse of Rajasthan's wildlife at its best. Located about 10 km. from the camp, is our private estate, MANVÃR DESERT. This protected environment is about 250 acres of soft and warm dunes. The desert has a secret network of trails best known to our experienced local drivers who can help you spot a good variety of magnificent plants, birds and invertebrates (animals without a backbone). Safaris are offered every morning and evening in comfortable slots at your convenience.

Camp High Tea
Enjoy a relaxing high tea experience in the serene desert camp setting. Choose from a mixed selection of traditional Indian and western dishes, all elaborately prepared and presented in perfect harmony. Please ask our associate for MANVÃR High tea menu. The area utilized for this would be the sand hummocks in front of the restaurant. Live musical performance and/or a bar can be provided on request in the event of cocktails at an extra charge.

Thar Sundowner
Nothing beats a stunning sunset over the majestic Thar. Enjoy this gorgeous natural marvel with a sundowner experience. It offers a jeep drive to our private estate, MANVĀR RESERVE and a mixed selection of traditional Indian and Western dishes, all elaborately prepared and presented in perfect harmony. Please ask our associate for MANVĀR High tea menu. Live musical performances and/or camel rides can be arranged with prior notice at an extra charge. A bar can be provided on request in the event of cocktails (charged extra, as per consumption).

Desert Grove Lunch
Desert Grove Lunch is an intimate wintertime dining experience set beneath a majestic old neem tree within our private desert estate, located approximately 5 km from the camp.
Surrounded by open desert landscapes and the quiet rhythm of rural life, this experience brings guests closer to the land in its most honest form. Shaded by the neem’s natural canopy, the setting offers a serene, earthy atmosphere that reflects the traditional way of enjoying food in the desert.
Guests are served a freshly prepared traditional Rajasthani lunch, cooked on-site by local chefs using seasonal ingredients and time-honoured recipes. The meal is unhurried, soulful, and deeply connected to the place it comes from.
A single local folk musician, playing the algoja or sarangi, may be arranged on request at an additional cost.
Desert Grove Lunch is not about excess it is about simplicity, authenticity, and living in harmony with the land, just as it has always been done in the desert.

Traditional MANVĀR Desert Dinner

At MANVĀR, we bring to you the very experience of their lifestyle through the grandeur of this traditional evening in an equally memorable setting. The soft feel of the sand, the subtle yet elegant lighting, the sultry melodies of live Rajasthani music (charged extra) and the attentive service make a traditional Rajasthani dinner at MANVĀR, a truly unforgettable experience.
