MANVĀR consists of three distinct zones: MANVĀR SHERGARH The Desert Resort is styled to reflect the traditional villages of the desert. It's an Oasis amid the desert. Located 6 km from our Desert resort, amidst the wilderness and surrounded by dunes is the MANVĀR SEVAN The Desert Camp. This consists of 30 colourfully decorated, safari-style tents arranged in a semi-circle. The Third zone is MANVĀR KUMAT, a 100-acre private estate. An oasis of luxury has been crafted in the vivid dunes.

MANVĀR is located at the trifecta of 3 of Rajasthan’s most popular cities: Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner. MANVĀR is just off the National Highway that links Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. Jodhpur is linked to all the major cities in India by Air and train. From Jodhpur, you will have to take a taxi cab, which can be booked through us in advance or through other taxi operators in Jodhpur.

All check-ins for guests staying at MANVĀR Resort are at the Resort while Camp checks in are at the Camp . Our attendants at the Camp will assist you with all the formalities and guide you to your choice of accommodation.

The nearest Government hospitals are at Setrawa and Dechu which are 10 km from here.
September, October, March and April are tropical weather, with hot afternoons and pleasant mornings and evenings. Temperatures can go up to 18˚C, at their lowest.
From November to December, days are sunny and pleasant but night-time winter temperatures vary between 02-20˚C. Mornings and evenings at the Camp during these months can get extremely cold. So do pack warm clothing!
An element of personal risk is involved in some of MANVĀR's excursions, such as the desert safari and the camel safari. Members of such an expedition must accept this risk. Though great precautions are taken to ensure your safety, you must note that some of the optional activities that you may wish to participate in carry various inherent risks with them.
Should you wish to take part in them, we can assume no responsibility for your safety. You are advised to take out an Insurance policy to cover personal accidents and medical expenses.

MANVĀR's wide range of activities means you can spend as much time here as you like without ever getting bored! We recommend staying for 2 days so that every major activity around MANVĀR can be experienced.
For those of you who are restricted to a single day, MANVĀR will customize your stay so that no matter what, you get the authentic MANVĀR experience.
Both the Camps are located on a 100 acre land. Manvār Kumat is situated around 200m from Manvār Sevan The Desert Camp and are designed to be more spacious, solitary and luxurious.
Day excursions are charged at additional costs, but we would be delighted to assist you in your plans should you wish to travel alone.
MANVĀR works in tandem with some of Rajasthan’s best folk dancers and musicians from the Kalbeliya, Manganiya and Langha communities of Rajasthan. Their performances every evening are a treat for the eyes and the ears!
